28th Dec. In the final results of the Swedish Competition DOG OF THE YEAR 2004, among several thousands of different dogs of all breeds, a list of 246 best dogs in Sweden was made. Nessa's daddy Nordic (BIS S VCH, SW-02 Greydove Nordic Liaison) placed as Nr 36! This is the best achievement in Swedish history by a Weimaraner. And that was not all ... Nordic was also Best Pointing Gun Dog (FCI Group 7)!!! Congratulations Anna-Lena & Nordic!
11th Dec. we visited the Swedish Winner show - trip was very nice (thanks to our traveling companion Tiina, Anna & Urho The Basenji!) and we met Nessa's breeder Anci & mama-Babben, Anna-Lena & daddy-Nordic and lot of beautiful relatives! Miss Nessa was this time on wonderful mood and showed herself beautifully - and even though our judge (Mrs Magdalena Karlsson, DISODIL'S) didn't like her more than for 1st prize, we were so proud of our little princess! Huge thanks to our handler Tiina who decided to stay in Weimaraner ring while Basenji ring was going on in other side of the hall :-) Nessa was also part of Scuba's Breeders Group (BOB) and her mom Babben's Progeny Group (BOB) so she was also shown in the Big Ring! Congratulations to half-sister Isa (Scuba's Galliano) for BB1, CC, CACIB, SW-04, BOB & BIG-1 :-) Nordic was BD4 and other half-sister Mina (Scuba's Gin And It) also won CC from working class - congrats also to Anna & Urho: Junior 1/2 CQ!
5th Dec. Helsinki INT (Finnish Winner 2004), judged by Mrs Leni Nousiainen: Nessa didn't want to be in the ring today and showed it in every way ;-) Many thanks though to our brave young handler Tinja, you tried your best - result this time was Very Good (1st prize) and she was 3rd in Junior Class - big congrats to half-brother Malte (Scuba's Ferintosh Malt): BD1, CACIB, FinW-04, BOB & BIG-2 (FinW-title for the 3rd time in row!) and to 'cousin' Mette (Garbu's Miss Marple): BB2, CC & FinJW-04! :-)
21st Nov. Jyväskylä INT, judged by Mr Laszlo Erdös (Hungary): Piitu entered showrings second time in her life - with same result than last year, Excellent 4 in Open Class! And then our little Nessa-baby .. first she won the Junior Class (4 entries) with Excellent and then she ended up as BB2 (2nd Best Bitch) and won her first CC, in her first possible show!! :-) HUGE thanks again to our handler Tiina (Bulldobas Basenjis)!

7th Nov. Nessa sends HUGE congratulations to her daddy Nordic for BOB, CACIB, BIG-1 & BIS-3 in Växjö INT (Sweden) today!
1st Nov. added some new pics of Nessa, created a new training gallery for her and added also one new photo to Hunting gallery - hunting of the grouses is over for this year and on last weekend Arto got one handsome black grouse and two hares! Well, it seems we didn't have time this year for Piitu's hunting tests ... we try next autumn! And then some Aatu -news ... our "Prince of Egypt" (like Susan named him in States) was neutered month ago, and now he just concentrates being a 'whipper-snapper' and beloved lap-dog - and we don't have to worry about girls having their seasons ;-)
10th-19th Sept. Hunting of the grouses started and we spent over a week at Pudasjärvi! Last year there were more birds but we still got something to bring at home - 2 capercaillies, 3 black grouses and 2 hares - and dogs had great time and that's the most important thing! Our Nessa-baby was naturally with us, learning and watching how Piitu works - and she already accompanied Piitu several times :-)
27th Aug. we moved to Somero! Own little farm - almost 6 hectares land with field, river & pond, a real paradise for the dogs :-)
20th-22nd Aug. Wild duck hunting started! We spent the weekend at Pakaa/Kantele-lake and got some birds too - Piitu did again wonderful job by bringing us 9 ducks and 2 doves. We also trained Nessa a little bit and were very happy with her - she really uses her nose and retrieves with passion! Many thanks again to Nina & Esko (owners of Nessa's half-brother Scuba's Ferintosh Malt) for your hospitality and company :-)
3rd July unofficial puppy show in Helsinki, judged by Mrs Hannele Jokisilta (Palabras Labradors) - Nessa for the first time in show ring: BOB & BIG-4 puppy in pouring rain :-)
12th March We are very proud to introduce you our new family member, little Nessa (Scuba's Hot Scotch)! She is a Weimaraner girl we imported from Sweden and she has already charmed everyone who has met her .. and yes, she is HOT! :-) Many thanks to her breeders Anci & Nicke Niklasson (SCUBA'S) for this very special girl!!
